Brownstown Speedway to Offer Point Fund Money

Promoter Jim Price has announced that Brownstown Speedway will once again pay a point fund for all six regular divisions that compete at the track. Jim stated, "Those who support our track every week should be rewarded for doing so". Jim has been working hard to secure sponsors to help make this possible for the 2014 racing season.

With the support of Mastersbilt Race Cars, MLR Fabrication, Impact Racing, Landrum Springs, BSB Manufacturing, Simpson Racing, and Willy's Carbs; the Super Late Model division's 2014 point champion will receive a minimum of $10,000 in cash and products combined at the season ending awards banquet. The entire top ten in points will receive point fund money and awards as well.

The Bowman Pro Late Models, "Fast Max" UMP Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Pure Stocks will be offered a chance to compete for point fund money. The top ten in these divisions will receive at least the same as a race night payout for their point fund with the possibility of those amounts being increased as more sponsors come on board.

Jim also announced that Terrell Automotive Machine will sponsor the Hornet division point fund and it will pay $1000 to the 2014 point champion. The top ten in Hornet points will receive point fund money and awards just like the other racing divisions participating at the track.

Future announcements concerning the point fund or race sponsorship will be made as more sponsors commit to helping Brownstown Speedway be the track to be at for your racing action in 2014.
