News from TSI: The "old A" is going back into production and will be available Thursday May 14th. Pre-order yours to ensure stock.

Also in the month of May, Hoosier will be producing 26.5 H tires for the first time. Many of you have asked for this tire in the past and will now have access to it. While no date has been given for release date, they will start production on the 12th of May and have made it clear that the new 26.5 H will be available by the end if the month if not sooner. We are taking pre-orders on this tire as well.

Boknecht Wins Patman Memorial...
Gilpin Wins Twice, Combs & Mitchell Win ...

Matt Boknecht May 2, 2015 - Matt Boknecht changed his familiar #22 on the side of his Super Stock with a #29 as a tribute to Scott Patman for the evening's Scott Patman Memorial for Super Stocks. Boknecht put the "Slim Fast #29" into victory lane getting the first Scott Patman Memorial and his first 2015 Brownstown victory.

Boknecht battled Tyler Cain and Earl Plessinger for the victory during the Super Stock feature with Cain, Plessinger, Jamey Wilson and Kevin Jones completing the top five. Eight drivers broke the old Super Stock track record of 15.949 during qualifications with Boknecht setting the new track record at 15.313 seconds.

Tom Ault advanced seven positions in the feature and took home the "Slim Fast" Hard Charger award.

The P3 Graphix Super Late Models did not disappoint the race fans either, as Devin Gilpin, Chad Stapleton charging from 20th starting spot and Jeremy Hines all battled for the win on the last few laps of the race. Gilpin would take the checkers ahead of Stapleton and Hines for his second "P3 Graphix" Super Late Model win at the Speedway.

For the second time this season Gilpin pulled off a double victory getting the "Fast Max" Modified win also. Gilpin's Modified win was his 5th victory at the Speedway out of 5 Modified events this year.

Jason Combs held off all challengers in "Tony Ogle Expedited Express" Pure Stocks to get his first Pure Stock feature win.

Brian Mitchell got his first ever victory in "Drainmaster Drain & Sewer Service" Hornets.

Fan Appreciation Night Winners...

Cody Mahoney April 18, 2015 - Saturday night was "Fan Appreciation" night at the Speedway. Fans got to meet and greet their favorite drivers and familiar faces found their way to victory lane.

Cody Mahoney visited Brownstown's victory lane last year in his Indiana Pro Late Model four times. Mahoney found his way back there Saturday night, only this time, recording his first ever Super Late Model victory at Brownstown.

Mahoney was followed at the finish by Steve Barnett, Chad Stapleton, Jeremy Hines and Joe Janowski.

The Indiana Late Model Series Pro Late Models were also on hand Saturday night with Bloomington Indiana's Brad Barrow getting the feature win. Barrow was trailed at the finish by Dustin Shoulders, Marty O'Neal, Jeremy Hines, and Alan Magner.

Tyler Cain remains undefeated in 2015 "Wolston Automotive" Super Stock action. Cain parked his #5C Super Stock in victory lane for the third straight time.

Dusten Carr picked up his second "Tony Ogle Expedited Express" Pure Stock feature win for the year.

Austin Burton started in the tenth spot, as last week's feature winner, but charged to the front to get his second "Drainmaster Drain & Sewer Service" Hornet feature win in a row.

Devin Gilpin April 11, 2015 - Devin Gilpin was doing double duty Saturday night by competing in the "P3 Graphix" Super Late Models and the "Fast Max" UMP Modifieds. The outcome was the same for both features, as Gilpin went home the victor in each division.

Gilpin recorded his first ever Brownstown Speedway Super Late Model victory by edging Chad Stapleton at the finish. Joe Janowski, Steve Barnett, and Alan Magner rounded out the top five.

Gilpin also got the win in "Fast Max" Modifieds for his second win of the evening and his fourth Modified win out of four races in 2015.

Tyler Cain is two for two in 2015, taking the "Wolston Automotive" Super Stocks victory.

Defending track champion Jim Ruddick got his first "Tony Ogle Expedited Express" Pure Stock feature win for the 2015 season.

Marty Oneal Takes First ILMS Points Race...
Gilpin, Cain, Carr, and Garrison Feature Winners...

Marty Oneal April 4, 2015 - It was opening points night for Brownstown Speedway and the Indiana Late Model Series Pro Late Models. Marty Oneal took home the win in the Indiana Pro Late Models feature after taking the lead from his nephew Hudson Oneal.

The Oneal's were followed at the checkers by Brad Cummings, Devin Gilpin, Brad Barrow, Dustin Shoulders, Steve Godsey, Matt Patus, Alan Magner, and Troy Worrick.

Devin Gilpin made it three in-a-row in the "Fast Max" UMP Modifieds.

Defending track Champion Tyler Cain started his 2015 points season with a win in the "Wolston Automotive" Super Stocks.

Dusten Carr and Jim Ruddick engaged in a fierce battle for most of the Pure Stock feature event, with Carr getting the win in "Tony Ogle Expedited Express" Pure Stocks.

2014 Hornet Track Champion Greg Garrison got the win in "Drainmaster Drain & Sewer Service" Hornets to begin defense of his Hornet track title.

Robert Ballou Gets "No Way Out 40" on Birthday...
Devin Gilpin and Robbie Roland Winners...

Robert BallouMarch 29, 2015 - Delayed one day because of weather, Robert Ballou rolled into Brownstown Speedway on Sunday (his birthday) and left with the "No Way Out 40" $7500 top prize.

Ballou charged from his 6th starting spot and battled with Kevin Thomas Jr. for the lead, swapping the top spot with a series of slide jobs before eventually pulling away for the victory.

Thomas, Jeff Bland Jr., Brady Short, and Jon Stanbrough followed Ballou at the line. Chase Stockon, CJ Leary, Kyle Cummins, Casey Shuman, and Dave Darland rounded out the top ten.

Devin Gilpin made it two for two at Brownstown for 2015 getting his second "Fast Max" UMP Modified victory. Gilpin held off stiff challenges from Kent Robinson and Bradley Sterrett until each had mechanical troubles, allowing Gilpin to cruise to his second feature win. Ryan Thomas, Jacoby Hines, Chad Combs and Jimmy Lennex followed Gilpin at the finish.

The King of the TQ/UMRA TQ's was also on hand for the event with Robbie Roland taking the win after battling Ron Combs for the top spot. Combs, Kyle May, Trent Henderson, and Kirby Petry completed the top five.

Earl Pearson Jr. Takes Third Career Indiana Icebreaker...
Shelby Miles and Devin Gilpin Feature Winners...

March 21, 2015 - Earl Pearson Jr. Earl Pearson Jr.claimed his third Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Indiana Icebreaker on Saturday Night at Brownstown Speedway. In front of a standing-room-only crowd, Pearson took the lead on lap two from Devin Moran and led the rest of the way.

Scott Bloomquist moved past Moran on lap 31 and chased down Pearson, but never found enough room to overtake him. Moran finished third, followed by Jimmy Owens, and the defending race winner, Don O'Neal.

Completing the top ten were Chris Simpson, Brandon Sheppard, Eddie Carrier Jr., Steve Casebolt, and Steve Francis.

The Indiana Pro Late Models were also on hand for the Icebreaker event with Bloomington Indiana's Shelby Miles cruising to the feature win. Miles was followed by Devin Gilpin, Brad Cummings, Brad Barrow, and Steve Barnett at the checkers.

Three-time UMP Modified National Champion Devin Gilpin had little trouble beating the 52 UMP Modifieds on hand for the evening, getting his first Brownstown win for 2015. Gilpin was trailed at the line by Ryan Thomas, Jamie Lomax, Joe Godsey, and Derek Groomer.
