Tyler Cain, Zach Sasser, Preston Carr, Jesse Stewart Jr., &
Jeremy Shemwell are All Winners on Opening Points Night.

April 11,2026 - Opening points night was delayed one week due to weather, but the 2026 points season kicked off Saturday night with Pro Late Models, Super Stocks, Pure Stocks, Crown Vics and Hornets all on hand for the evening.


Tyler Cain kicked off 2026 with a victory in Pro Late Models. Zach Stalker jumped to the early lead with Jug Wethington and Cain making it a good three-way battle for the lead. Wethington took his turn at leading and began to open up a good margin. After a caution near the half-way mark, Cain took the lead for good to score the win. A charging Tucker Chastain would take second followed by Jug Wethington, Brent McMillan, and Caleb Schryer.


Defending "Pewter Hall" Super Stock champion Zach Sasser started off the new season by parking in victory lane. Zach Sasser would lead all the feature laps with brother Isaiah Sasser taking second over Jeremy Helton, Colton Sullivan, and Jack Roberts.


Preston Carr went back-to-back in Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub Pure Stocks scoring his second feature win of the year. Carr, Blake Hull, and Dustin Foster all took a turn at leading during the race. Carr took the lead back with seven laps to go and held it the rest of the way. Foster would take second ahead of Brad Kemp, Blake Hull, and Kevin Streeval.


The Crown Vic feature would see Jesse Stewart Jr. and Matt Cranmer battle for the lead. Jesse Stewart Jr. took over the lead for good to record the first win of 2026. Bryson Clark, Matt Cranmer, Todd Cain, and Wayne Shoff completed the top five.


The closest finish of the night was witnessed in NAPA of Brownstown Hornet feature action. Josh Arthur led most of the race as Jeremy Shemwell worked his way to second. With four laps to go, Shemwell would catch Arthur. The duo raced door-to-door the rest of the race with Jeremy Shemwell taking the win by a nose at the checkers. Josh Arthur, Davey Waggoner, Marshall Claycamp, and James Simmons rounded out the top five.

Devin Moran Wins Third Straight Indiana Icebreaker...
Preston Carr Visits Victory Lane.

March 28,2026 - Devin Moran captured his third consecutive Indiana Icebreaker on Saturday night at Brownstown Speedway. The defending Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series National Champion earned $25,000 for his fourth series victory of the season. With the win, Moran now holds the series points lead.


Ricky Thornton Jr., the defending Jackson 100 champion at Brownstown, passed Max Blair late in the race to finish second. Blair rounded out the Big River Steel Podium in third after starting eighth. Josh Rice, in his first full season with the series, charged from 17th to finish fourth, while Brandon Sheppard completed the top five.


Sheppard, a two-time Indiana Icebreaker winner, jumped to the lead at the start of the 50-lap feature and led the opening 14 laps. Moran, who started outside the front row, moved into second on lap six and stayed within striking distance. Following a caution on lap 12, Moran closed in and overtook Sheppard three laps later, then led the remainder of the race.


Moran, now a 28-time winner in Lucas Oil Victory Lane, drove from the fourth starting position to secure the victory.


Preston Carr took home the first Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub Pure Stock feature of 2026 in a wild Pure Stock race. Sheldon Oberle and Blake Hull brought the field to the green. Oberle took the early lead. Hull would slide over the bank dropping back to 11th place. Jt Huffman would take over second but later retire from the race with mechanical issues. Hull worked his way back to the front and shortly after taking the lead, he would spin and be collected by another car, ending his night. With ten laps to go Preston Carr would spin off turn two and had to restart at the back. Carr would get back to second trailing Oberle. Oberle would slide up over the top of the turn with 3 laps to go and Carr would take the lead. Carr went on to get the win followed by Philip Boudreaux from his 19th starting spot, Brad Kemp, Cody Ellison, and Bobby Woods.

Funfest Wraps Up 2025 Racing Season

October 12, 2025 - Funfest 2025 wrapped up another great year of racing at the Speedway with racing action Friday thru Sunday.


Friday night's winners were Jordan Wever in P3 Graphix Super Late Models, Zach Sasser in Pewter Hall Super Stocks, Ross Smith in Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub Pure Stocks, Eric Lewis in Miller's Pest Control Crown Vics, and Lucas Jackson in the NAPA of Brownstown Hornets.


On Saturday night, the Midwest Thunder 410 Non-wing Sprints were in attendance with Jordan Kinser getting the win. Other Saturday night winners were Brent McMillan in Boss Construction Pro Late Models, Jeremy Helton in Pewter Hall Super Stocks, Blake Hull in Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub Pure Stocks, Jesse Stewart Jr. in Miller's Pest Control Crown Vics, and Josh Arthur got his first win in NAPA of Brownstown Hornets.


Two Enduro events concluded the racing season on Sunday with Donald Hobbs winning the Hornet Enduro and JT Huffman Would win the Pure Stock/Crown Vic Enduro with Eric Lewis the highest finishing Crown Vic.

October 4, 2025 - It was Championship Night at the speedway and six racing divisions were on hand for the evening, Five track champions and the ILMS Pro Late Model champion was determined.


Tyler Neal picked up the win in P3 Graphix Super Late Models. Devin Gilpin took the early lead with Jordan Wever and Neal in tow. Neal would make the pass for the lead with nine laps to go. A caution with 2 laps to go slowed the race. Neal would maintain the lead the last two laps to get the win. Gilpin took second with Don O'Neal, Matt Boknecht and Jordan Wever following. Devin Gilpin is the 2025 P3 Graphix Super Late Model track champion. This is Gilpin's sixth Super Late Model track championship.


Devin Gilpin led flag to flag in Boss Construction Indiana Pro Late Model feature action to score his second Pro Late Model win of the year. Tyler Cain made it interesting at the finish but finished second ahead of Josh Litton, Skyller Lewis and Caleb Schryer. Tyler Cain is the 2025 Boss Construction Indiana Pro Late Model series champion. Cain is a two-time series champion.


Zach Sasser got his fifth Pewter Hall Super Stock feature win of the year and is the 2025 Super Stock track champion. Zach Sasser is a two-time Super Stock track champion. Sasser led all twenty laps of the feature event and was followed at the checkers by Isaiah Sasser, Colton Sullivan, Greg Amick and Jenna Boknecht.


Blake Hull dominated the Bearded Hobo Brewery & Pub Pure Stocks all year long and recorded his fourteenth feature win of the year. Blake Hull also is a first-time track champion as he scores the 2025 Pure Stock championship. AJ Wilson and Ross Smith battled for the lead in the early part of the feature, Hull worked his way to second and took over the top spot at the halfway mark and would go on to get the win. Josh Turner, AJ Wilson, Brayden Watson and Preston Carr completed the top five.


Matt Cranmer made it win number eight in Miller's Pest Control Crown Vics. Matt Cranmer is the 2025 Crown Vic track champion, his first track championship. Cranmer took care of business for the night by starting on the pole and leading all twenty feature laps for the win. Jesse Stewart Jr., Matthew Weston, Wayne Shoff and Todd Cain followed Cranmer at the finish.


Jeremy Shemwell did what he needed to do in NAPA of Brownstown Hornet action. Shemwell won the feature and secured the 2025 Hornet track championship. Shemwell led all twenty laps for the win ahead of Curtis Roccia, James Simmons, Marshall Claycamp, and Preston Righthouse. Shemwell becomes a two-time Hornet track champion.
